When navigating Cutover, it's important to know how to manage and update your personal information. In this article, we'll cover how you can view and edit your personal details.

Your profile information is accessible within your Cutover instance. To access this information, click the user icon on the bottom left-hand corner of your homepage:

In the My Details panel, you can manage your account information. The following fields can be edited:

  • Name: Edit your name as viewed in Cutover.

  • Nickname: Edit the nickname associated with your account.

  • Mobile number: Adding your mobile number allows the Cutover platform to send you runbook notifications via SMS. For example, task ready-to-start notifications or any ad-hoc communication.

  • Memorable word: Your memorable word will be displayed to you in SMS communications from Cutover to verify the authenticity of the SMS message.

Important: When setting a memorable word you should always choose a word that is only known to you. Don't make your memorable word the same as any sensitive or confidential data such as a password.

  • Communication opt-ins: Accept (or decline) email and SMS communication.

  • Job title: Edit your job title as it appears in Cutover.

  • Bio: Edit your bio as it appears in Cutover.

The following profile details cannot be edited, only viewed:

  • Roles: Displays what roles have been assigned to you by your administrator and which workspace(s) you have access to.

  • History: Displays your profile history and changes.

  • Settings: Displays your login option.

  • Statistics: Displays your login count, latest login date and time, and account invitation history.

Note: Regarding settings, while you cannot edit your login option, you can update your communication preferences.
