Highlight Mode offers an alternative way to view filtered tasks by highlighting matching tasks and graying out the rest of the runbook. This allows you to visualize filtered tasks within the context of the full runbook. In this article, we’ll cover how to enable and disable Highlight Mode.
Highlight Mode is most effective in Nodemap view or Task List view. For more information, see our Nodemap article on using Highlight Mode. The sections below explain how to use Highlight Mode in Task List view.
How to enable Highlight mode
Highlight mode is available within the dotted More options menu located at the top-right hand side of your runbook.
Once enabled, select the desired filters via the filter panel. Highlight mode will automatically highlight the tasks that match your selected filters and gray out the remaining tasks so these cannot be selected.
Disable highlight mode
There are two ways to remove highlight mode, outlined below:
Click on the More options icon and select Switch to default filter mode to return to the default view.
On the right side of the More options icon, will see a highlight mode active icon. Click on the icon to remove the highlight mode and return to the default view.
