Now it is your turn to utilize everything you learned in the previous session by building your own runbook.

Objectives

Create a runbook based on your own use case. Ensure you hit the goals below.


Runbook Exercise

Here are some use case ideas for your runbook

  • Existing internal process for your department

  • This could be a start of a recovery plan, a migration process, implementation or release plan.

Goals. What should be included in your Runbook

  • Use at least 5 different task types

  • Have parallel dependencies

  • Create 2 teams and add members to the team **(visit this article on how to add teams to your runbook)**

  • Assign at least 2 tasks to a team and 2 tasks to a single user (can be yourself)

  • Run 1 rehearsal (with comms off)
